Day 01 - NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport to Phuentsholing (Approx. 4 Hours / 142 Kms)
Meet and greet upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport. Embark on a scenic drive to Phuentsholing, the vibrant gateway to Bhutan. This bustling town offers a unique blend of Indian and Bhutanese cultures. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure, exploring the local market or relaxing at your accommodation. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.
Day 02 - Phuentsholing to Thimphu (Approx. 5 Hours / 145 Kms)
After breakfast, drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Enjoy picturesque views of valleys, rocky mountains, and lush forests along the route. Stop at scenic viewpoints, including Dam View Point and Dantak View Point. Arrive in Thimphu and check into your hotel. Spend the evening exploring the local area at your leisure. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 03 - Thimphu Sightseeing & Transfer to Paro (Approx. 1 Hour / 50 Kms)
Post breakfast, embark on a tour of Thimphu’s highlights. Visit the National Folk Heritage Museum to learn about Bhutanese rural life, and explore the Painting School (Institute for Zorig Chusum) where traditional arts and crafts are taught. Marvel at the Buddha Dordenma Statue, a massive golden Buddha with 125,000 smaller Buddha statues inside. Visit the Motithang Takin Preserve to see Bhutan’s national animal, the Takin. Day 04 - Paro Sightseeing & Transfer to Gorumara (Approx. 6 Hours / 249 Kms)
Begin your day with a visit to Ta Dzong National Museum, an ancient watchtower displaying Bhutanese artifacts and cultural relics. Explore Rinpung Dzong, an impressive fortress-monastery showcasing traditional Bhutanese architecture. Take in the breathtaking views from Paro Airport View, known for its stunning landscape. Day 05 - Gorumara National Park to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport (Approx. 2 Hours / 100 Kms)
Early in the morning, embark on a Jeep Safari in Gorumara National Park, renowned for its population of Indian Rhinoceros and diverse wildlife (safari cost not included). Return to your hotel for breakfast before checking out.
