Detailed Itinerary
Welcome to Hanoi! Your guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. After you’ve settled in (rooms available from 02:00 PM), your Hanoi exploration begins.
Later in the afternoon, visiting the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s earliest university, started in 1070. Take note of its peaceful courtyards, centuries-old stone stelae, and strong Confucian traditions.
Then, go to Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi’s peaceful center, and walk across The Huc Bridge to Ngoc Son Temple to pay tribute to General Tran Hung Dao. Enjoy the serene atmosphere as you discover the legend of the holy turtle and Vietnam’s brave history. Resume your tour with a classic cyclo tour of Hanoi Old Quarter. You will pass through bustling markets and colonial buildings, absorbing the city’s vibrant culture. Conclude with a delightful Water Puppet Show, a traditional art that depicts Vietnamese tales and customs.
After an enriching day, return to your hotel for a relaxing evening. Dinner is on your own, and you will spend the night in Hanoi.
