Start the day by visiting the Ho Chi Minh City landmarks. You can view the iconic Independence Palace, which represents reunification, and admire the French colonial styles of Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. The War Remnants Museum has a poignant and moving experience as it showcases the effects of Vietnam’s conflicts.

Following a local lunch, you’ll venture to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extraordinary example of wartime ingenuity. Discover the underground network, learn how it functioned, and experience the conditions faced by Vietnamese soldiers. You’ll have the opportunity to taste local tea and cassava, and those interested can try their hand at the shooting range before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.

Your Mekong Delta adventure starts as you leave the bustling city of Ho Chi Minh and travel to My Tho, a charming town on the Mekong River. You first stop at the historic Vinh Trang Pagoda, a scenic spot of the 19th century. Then, you embark on a leisurely sampan cruise, exploring the magical islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise.

You can stroll along rural roads, see green orchards, and enjoy tropical fruits while listening to villagers playing folk music at Unicorn Island. You will then continue to a fruit farm. Later, you will relax in the countryside on a hand-rowed boat trip along the Thoi Son canal, going past small family businesses, a honey farm, and a coconut candy workshop. Enjoy a tasty lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you can bike around Tan Thach village to witness local life or take a nap in a hammock and feel the Delta wind.

Enjoy your free time until your hotel transfers you to the airport for your Hanoi flight. Upon landing at Noi Bai, our car and guide will meet you and take you to your hotel for check-in. Your room will be ready.

In the afternoon, you’ll see the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from the outside while learning about the great legacy of Vietnam’s beloved leader. Then, walk around peaceful Hoan Kiem Lake where you can see the famous Turtle Tower and cross the beautiful red bridge to visit Ngoc Son Temple. Later in the day, you’ll go to Dong Xuan Market. It’s full of energy, colorful stalls, local flavors, and the daily life of Hanoi. It’s a very local experience.

Meals are on your own. Your day ends with relaxation in the Hanoi hotel.

After hotel breakfast, a cruise bus will transport you to Halong Bay, showcasing the Red River Delta’s scenic beauty. Upon reaching the harbor, board our boat and sail through emerald waters, exploring a stunning grotto with impressive formations. Then, settle into your overnight cruise ship, your gateway to Halong Bay’s iconic limestone structures.

Following a delightful onboard lunch, engage in various activities like kayaking and visiting floating villages. As evening arrives, enjoy a cooking demonstration and a delicious dinner onboard. You may join evening activities or simply relax, enjoying the peaceful bay.

After breakfast, you’ll spend time sunbathing and relaxing against the stunning backdrop of the bay. Enjoy a delightful onboard brunch at around 11:30 AM, then transfer back to Hanoi, arriving between 3:00 and 4:00 PM. Overnight in Hanoi.

Your morning is free until your driver-only transfers to the Noi Bai airport for your departure flight. Please note that room checkout is at 12:00 PM. Meals are independent. We hope you’ll return to Vietnam soon!
