Enjoy a starry night while resting in your hotel or camp. It boasts a stunning landscape carved out by the Hanle River, capturing everyone’s attention. The valley is surrounded by bare mountains that portray a different picture altogether.

Pay a visit to the famous Hanle Monastery and Observatory and soak in the most panoramic aerial views of the entire village from here. Built in the mid-17th century, the monastery sits very close to India and Chinese-controlled Tibet.

Catch a beautiful sunset from the Photi La pass and capture mesmerising views from atop the elevation of 18,149 feet above sea level. If time permits, also visit Kyon Tso Twin Lake, the most unique twin lake with a Brakish lake and a sweet lake adjacent to each other.
