Begin your day with a healthy breakfast at your hotel in Srinagar. Later, you will be leaving for Kargil via Sonamarg. Sonamarg is a beautiful hill station. It is the “meadow of gold”, and home to many peaks like the Kolhoi Peak, Amarnath Peak and Sirbal Peak. The drive to Sonamarg from Srinagar is a beautiful road, that will mesmerize you. There you can visit Vishansar Lake, drive by the Zoji La Pass and also visit the Shutkari Bridge. You will also visit Drass Valley on your way. This is the place of the Kargil War. The Pakistani Army had dropped shells at this location and in the surrounding villages, due to which the war broke out.

Later, continue your journey to Kargil after a passport check at the checkpoint on the way to Kargil. Upon your arrival to your hotel, complete your check-in process and take some rest before dinner and overnight stay.

On Day 3 you will be leaving for Leh after a healthy breakfast at the hotel. You will be driving from Lamayuru where you will visit some tourist attractions.

In Lamayuru, your first sightseeing attraction will be Alchi Monastery. This place is located in the Alchi Village. It is a complex of Buddhist temples and Alchi is the oldest of them all. The place is cemented on a flat ground, unlike other monasteries of the region. The traditional Tibetan architecture is it’s highlight. You will then visit Moonland. This is a unique landscape on the Leh-Kargil Road. The landscapes here are that of the shape of the moon and hence it is fondly called so. Your last destination is the Lamayuru Monastery. The highlight of this place are its murals, frescoes and paintings.

After this sightseeing tour, you will reach your hotel in Leh for a night stay and dinner.

After a healthy breakfast at the hotel, you can begin with your sightseeing tour in Leh.

The first destination you will visit is Diskit Gompa. It is the largest surviving monastery in the region. This monastery is located on the slope of a mountain and it overlooks the snow-covered mountain peaks of the Himalayas. Your next destination is Shanti Stupa. The stupa is famous for its white dome. It is a Buddhist monument that holds the relics of Buddha. The architecture of the stupa is what attracts tourists. The last destination you cannot miss out on is the Leh Palace. The palace is also known as 'Lhachen Palkhar,'. Constructed in the 17th-century, this royal palace is a major tourist attraction now. The museum in the palace is one of its highlights too.

At evening, return to your hotel for a delicious dinner meal and some goodnight’s sleep.

On Day 5, you will be leaving for Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass, the highest motorable road. So, have an early morning breakfast and then get ready for your beautiful road trip.

At Khardungla you can enjoy a camel ride. Also, the beautiful snow-covered mountain peaks surrounding you will make of the perfect backdrop for some amazing pictures. Spend some time at the pass and then continue your journey to Nubra Valley.

Once you arrive in Nubra Valley check in to your hotel. After you are well-rested, leave for your sightseeing tour.

The first destination is in fact an adventure sport. It is a Bactrian Camel Ride. These camels are known for their two humps and it’s a fun ride to enjoy on the snow-covered fields. The next destination for you is Hunder Village. It is the cold desert of the region and famous for its sand dunes. Later, visit the Panamik Hot Springs. The spring has medicinal properties and hence many tourists flock to this attraction point.

After this fun-filled day, head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After early morning breakfast at the hotel, be prepared for a road trip to Pangong Lake via Shayok River. The river of Shayok originates from high altitudes of Rimo Glacier. The highlight of the lake is its crystal-clear water. You can spend some time at the lake and be away from the hustle-bustle of your city life.

Continue your trip to Pangong. Once you reach your campsite, get settled in and take some rest. Enjoy your leisure time there and by night enjoy a steaming hot dinner meal and an overnight stay at the campsite.

As usual, you will begin your day with breakfast. Post breakfast, leave for Leh. Once you reach your hotel in Leh, complete the check-in formalities and then begin your sightseeing tour.

In Leh, you will be able to enjoy free time for the day. However, you can also visit sightseeing locations like the 3 Idiots School and Thiksey Monastery. At night you will have dinner at the hotel and also be spending the night there.
